Car Insurance Pontiac (Car Insurance). How much is a CBR250 Hurricane motorcycle 1987 model worth in ur country?

How much is a CBR250 Hurricane motorcycle 1987 model worth in ur country? thinking i found a good deal for a Honda CBR250 87 model, but i have no idea how much these things are generally worth, so does anyone have any estimate figures how much its worth?

They were never sold in the USA or Canada, so they would have no value here, since they would not be street-legal.

Is the 2011 Jetta considered girly? Platinum Gray Metalic ( dark gray essentially) and Black leather interior. When I picked it out, I personally didnt think it was girly at all but I've heard the previous Jetta's were considered girly . Would this one fall under the same category ? Pontiac . Someone accidentally backed into my car?

Someone accidentally backed into my car? Basically I have a 1997 Mitsubishi eclipse gs, perfect condition. I keep my cars in the best condition. Anyhow, long story short, they backed into it because they had a bigger car and mine is lower to the ground, and they went directly to the side of the car, so my car has a side swipe along the side of the back panel on the drivers side by the wheel. They stopped there, so there are now white slice marks along the side of the drivers rear side panel and it goes on the side of the bumper by the wheel. So there is now a fade of scratches on the rear bumper and its pushed in a little, a crack on the side of the tail light and some scratches on the side metal where the body is. All on the drivers side. Its not too bad, but the car definitely is no longer "perfect" or looking perfect anymore. I got all the insurance info, he even called them from there. They are going to come look at it or get it estimated or whatever they do. This is the first time this has happened to me... My question is, how is it most likely going to be fixed by the body shop? Are they going to do a whole repaint on that chunk of the body and redo the whole bumper? Will I get the tail light replaced? Or are they just going to "touch up paint" it, because this would look kinda crappy... Just wanting my car to go back to exact same look as it was, not look covered up.... Anyone that has had something like this minor incident happen before, what ended up happening? Were the results good? Thanks! car insurance.

Do I have to change my brake fluid? I've well exceeded the recommended brake fluid changing interval for my car. If I don't feel any mushiness in my brake pedal (it feels pretty firm), does it matter if I don't change the brake fluid? I read that old brake fluid can get contaminated and damage components of the brake system, such as ABS, but is that likely, and if so, how serious could the damage become? Pontiac . How to Make My Powerstroke Turbo Louder

Making your Powerstroke Turbo louder is a matter of increasing the turbo whistle. When a turbo wraps up at high rpm -- burning reconstituted exhaust -- the high pressure and high velocity of carbon monoxide through the turbo makes a whistle or screaming sound similar to that heard from a jet engine. Manufacturers of the Powerstroke added a silencer ring to the turbo in order to quiet the whistle. By removing the silencer ring, you can increase the volume of the turbo whistle. Removing the silencer ring will not damage the turbo or the engine, nor will it reduce the turbo's performance.
Difficulty:Moderately Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
1/4-inch standard screwdriver
1/2-inch standard screwdriver

Step by Step :
1
Turn off your engine. You can not open the manifold cover on the turbo or remove the silencer ring if the engine is running.
2
Lift the hood and remove the manifold cover on the turbo by releasing the securing tabs holding it in place. Look into the intake hose for the snap ring. The intake hose is the only hose running into the turbo manifold. You will not be removing the intake hose, you are removing something from inside it, the snap ring holding the silencer ring in place. The snap ring will be located at the mouth of the intake hose. A snap ring looks like a horseshoe. It is open on one end and has a tab on the other for removal.
3
Pry the snap ring off with the 1/4-inch screwdriver. Once you have removed the snap ring, you will see the silencer ring. It is an entire circle. Use both screwdrivers to pop the silencer ring free from the mouth of the intake hose. Replace the manifold cover on the turbo and you are ready to restart your Powerstroke.

Pontiac . How to Install a Header on a Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler does well off-road and in most situations on city streets. It's power and gas mileage need improvement, however. The best place to start is with the exhaust system which is restrictive and prone to failure in high-mileage Wranglers. A set of free flowing headers is inexpensive and easy to bolt on. The headers improve the performance and the gas mileage. They allow exhaust gases a clear, wide path to the exhaust pipe.
Difficulty:Moderately Challenging
Instructions Things You'll Need
Header kit
Anti-seize compound
Scouring pad
Solvent
Gasket
Torque wrench
Compressed air

Step by Step :
1
Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2
Loosen the bolts on the intake manifold which will move the power steering pump out of the way. The stock headers can't be taken out unless this is done.
3
Disconnect the air inlet tube and remove the throttle cable, vacuum lines and electrical connectors. Depress the Schrader valve on the fuel rail to bleed pressure from the fuel lines. The Schrader valve is like the air valve on a tire. Put a rag over the valve and press the stem. A small amount of fuel will squirt out.
4
Disconnect the oxygen sensor.
5
Use an air hose to blow away debris from the outside of the exhaust manifold before removing it.
6
Loosen the bolts at the center and ends of the exhaust manifold. Don't take them out. They'll provide stability for the removal of the other bolts. Once all the other bolts are out, take out the remaining bolts and remove the stock exhaust manifold.
7
Remove the remains of the old gasket with a scouring pad and solvent. Don't let anything fall into the ports. Install the new gasket. The gasket manufacturer will have special instructions about orientation of the gasket and the use of sealer.
8
Apply anti-seize compound to the bolts that will hold the new header in place.
9
Fit the new headers onto the engine and bolt them down. Torque the bolts according to the header manufacturer's specifications. Usually, it's 24 foot-pounds of torque. Follow the tightening pattern in the instructions. Bolt the header to the exhaust pipe.

Step by Step :
10
Replace the intake manifold, steering pump, fuel lines, vacuum lines and electrical connections that were removed or loosened.

cooled engine. If you have a pre-1975 Volkswagen, you won't find a drop of water in it.) Of course, nothing is as simple as it seems. Automakers add a couple of gimmicks to keep the water from boiling too easily. These include a water pump to keep it moving; a fan and a radiator to cool it off; a pressure cap to retard boiling; a thermostat to help the engine quickly reach and maintain the proper temperature; and antifreeze/coolant to raise the boiling point and keep the water from rusting the engine and freezing in winter. Put them all together, and you have your vehicle's cooling system (see Figure 8-1). The cooling system is highly efficient. It usually requires almost no work to keep it operating — just a watchful eye for leaks and an occasional check or change of coolant. This chapter explores the system part by part. Chapter 14 shows you what to do if your car overheats and how to maintain and troubleshoot the cooling system and make easy repairs. Chapter 21 helps you get out of trouble if your car overheats on the road. 160 Part": What Makes It Go?. When the fuel/air mixture is ignited in the cylinders, the temperature inside the engine can reach thousands of degrees Fahrenheit. It takes only half that heat to melt iron, and your engine would be a useless lump of metal in about 20 minutes if your vehicle couldn't keep things cool. Naturally, the liquid (coolant and water) that circulates around the cylinders in the engine block gets very hot, and so it's continually circulated back to the radiator, where it cools off before heading back to the scene of the action. The radiator is designed to cool the liquid quickly by passing it over a large cooling surface. The liquid enters the radiator through the top radiator hose, which is usually connected to (you guessed it) the top of the radiator (refer

to Figure 8-1). As the liquid descends, it runs through channels in the radia tor, which are cooled by air rushing in through cooling fins between the channels. When the liquid has cooled, it leaves the radiator through the bottom radiator hose (surprise!). This hose usually has a spring inside it to prevent it from collapsing when the water pump draws coolant from the radi ator. (If it collapses anyway, Chapter 14 has instructions for replacing it.) Additional hoses There are also smaller-diameter hoses also leading from your engine to the heater core (see the end of this chapter). Some vehicles have a small bypass hose near the thermostat as well (see "The Thermostat," later in this chapter). These hoses are an important part of the cooling system, as they are designed to carry the liquid in it from one component to another. .Chapter 8: The Cooling System Up Close Coolant/Antifreeze

To keep the water in the cooling system from boiling or freezing, the water is mixed with coolant/antifreeze (which, in the interest of brevity, I just call "coolant"). Most coolants contain about 95 percent ethylene glycol, a chemical that stops water from freezing or boiling, even in extreme temperatures. (Ethylene glycol is toxic; there are nontoxic coolants that contain propylene glycol instead. See the sidebar "Keeping coolant out of the mouths of babes and small animals" in Chapter 14.) In addition to the ethylene glycol, coolant also contains rust, corrosion, and foaming inhibitors, so coolant does more than just keep the water in the system in a liquid state: It also helps to prevent the formation of rust on the metal surfaces of the engine and the radiator, lubricates the water pump, and keeps the liquid from foaming as it circulates through the system. Since the early 1960s, auto manufacturers have designed the cooling systems of most vehicles for a 50/50 mixture of ethylene glycol and water, which is still generally considered the proper proportion of coolant to water for the cooling system of most vehicles. (I usually refer to the coolant and water mixture as "liquid" in the rest of this chapter.) Today's engines require specially formulated coolants that are safe for aluminum components. Also, some manufacturers are using a new coolant called Dex-cool that can last about twice as long as other coolants. If your cooling system is operating properly, you shouldn't have to keep adding liquid to it. Chapter 3 shows you how to check the level and condition of the liquid in the cooling system, and Chapter 14 shows you how to add liquid or flush the system and replace the liquid in it. The coolant recovery system A coolant recovery system is just a clear plastic container with two little hoses coming out of the cap (see Figure 8-2). One hose leads to the radiator, and the other serves as an overflow pipe for the container. The container holds an extra supply of water and coolant, in case the system loses any. When your cooling system heats up and starts to overflow, the liquid pours back into the recovery container instead of pouring out of the radiator overflow pipe and onto the ground. When the system cools off, the pressure drops and the liquid is drawn out of the container and back into the radiator. This process not only saves you coolant, but it also protects animals and children from sampling puddles of the toxic stuff. 162 Part II: What Makes It Go? Figure 8-2: A coolant recovery system.
